As the site of the Ancient Egytian city of Thebes, Luxor has frequently been characterized as the “world’s greatest open air museum”, as the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city. Immediately opposite, across the River Nile lie the monuments, temples and tombs on the West Bank Necrpolis, which include the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens.

Start the tour by crossing to the West Bank to visit the Valley of Kings, Temple of Queen Hatsheput, Colossi of Memon and The Alabastar Institute, back to the East Bank for break and a bit of lunch. Then visit Karnak temples followed by a lovely visit to the perfume shop.

Transfer back to Luxor airport, and fly back again to Sharm.
